Rethinking the wiper.
Explore the product's form, fit, installation, everyday use, and replacement experience. These are design questions for our own future products, informed by the needs of drivers and automotive businesses.
Alongside our first wiper range, we're exploring how original product design and thoughtful add-ons could bring useful upgrades to older vehicles.
Early ideas & design conversations
A starting point: drivers keeping older Toyotas, Hondas, and other familiar vehicles on the road.
Replacing an everyday part can also be a moment to ask a better question. Could it be easier to use? Could it offer a practical upgrade? Could good design make a useful feature more accessible?
We are exploring original wiper-product design alongside the retail and business supply routes. The aim is to understand real driver needs before choosing what to develop.

Explore add-on features for older cars, especially where a driver wants a practical improvement without replacing the vehicle. Which upgrades would be useful, accessible, and appropriate for a wiper system?
Early concepts to investigate, rather than features of the current launch range.
Could a heating or de-icing add-on offer useful assistance around the wiping area for vehicles without a suitable built-in system?
First, we need to understand drivers' cold-weather routines and the limits of existing solutions. Then we can assess whether an add-on could be safe to install, practical to use, and worth developing.
Exploratory directionCould sensing or AI help a wiper-related product respond to conditions or make its use more straightforward?
The starting point is a driver need, followed by assessing whether sensing or AI could offer a useful improvement and how it would be tested. No AI system or feature set has been selected.
Early-stage questionA more speculative idea: could holographic or other projection approaches create a useful add-on for older vehicles?
The first question is whether there is a useful role for projection around a wiper product. Any concept would need to be assessed for visibility, distraction, and installation before further development. There is no chosen architecture or working prototype to announce.
Speculative conceptWe're forming ideas and having early design conversations. Next comes understanding users, evaluating the concepts, and deciding which questions deserve a closer look.
These directions are separate from the first commercial range. Product feasibility, prototypes, and performance remain to be established.
